On the 27th day of the 12th month of the Tibetan Royal Year 2152, corresponding to February 14, 2026, at Sermey Thosam Norling Monastery, under the presiding leadership of Torma Offering Master Tsawa His Eminence Ngawang Choeden Rinpoche Palzangpo, the spiritual teachers are conducting a grand torma offering ceremony.
The ceremony is being performed to invoke and make offerings to the yidam deities, dharma protectors, and guardians with the following aspirations:
For the long life and the flourishing of activities in all directions of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Omniscient and All-Seeing Great One, who is the crown jewel of gods and humans in the four continents, the guide to world peace, and the refuge for both this life and the next for us Tibetan people, as well as for the peerless holders of the precious teachings and great noble beings throughout the world;
For the pacification and cessation of unfavourable obstacles and hindrances such as natural disasters caused by the four elements, epidemics, wars, famines, and other calamities throughout this world, and for all beings to live in happiness, wealth, and well-being according to the Dharma;
In particular, for the monks of this monastery and the associated patrons and benefactors, that all their individual obstacles of aging, illness, poverty, and inner and outer hindrances may be completely pacified without exception, and that auspicious and dharmic activities such as longevity, merit, power, prosperity, influence, reputation, and fame may be accomplished according to their wishes, along with many collections of temporary and ultimate benefits and happiness.
