In accordance with the directive issued by the Department of Religion and Culture of the Central Tibetan Administration, and on the occasion of the 10th day of the first month of the Fire Horse Year (Tibetan Year 2153), a special prayer observance has been conducted as prescribed.
As per the instructions and pronouncements received from the State Oracles (Dharma Protectors), the observance is dedicated to the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the peace and stability of Tibet’s धर्म (Dharma) and governance, the averting of potential obstacles and adversities, and the accumulation of merit for all sentient beings in this degenerate age.
In line with these directives, the following religious practices have been duly undertaken:
• Recitation of the Do-de Kalzang (ten complete rounds),
• Offering rituals to the Venerable Elders (Arhats), accompanied by one thousand offering clouds,
• Tsok offering dedicated to the Great Compassionate One (Avalokiteshvara), together with one thousand praises,
• Extensive fulfillment and confession rituals (Kangshag Bumthar) dedicated to the Lady of the Desire Realm.
Accordingly, from Saturday, 4 April 2026 to Sunday, 5 April 2026, at the main assembly hall of Seramey Thoesam Norling Monastery, under the esteemed leadership of Kyabje Khen Rinpoche, and with the participation of lamas, tulkus, geshes, and the monastic assembly, the aforementioned special and purposeful rituals were solemnly carried out in full accordance with the issued directive.
